Darkness is trying to over take me
trying to quell my spirit.
making me shiver with burgeoning
fear.
the darkness is trying to blacken
my heart, to darken it with fear.
it is trying to dampen my spirit,
my spirit is strong, so i stand.
my resolve is immense, so i stay.
my heart is valiant so i fight.
I will die trying to keep my
spirit bright, my heart light.
I will win against it.
I will show no fear towards it.
I stand with my feet planted
defiantly on this earth.
With my fists raised in triumph
against this darkness.
